| | Wellbutrin is classified as
an antidepressant used to treat depression. Your doctor may prescribe this medicine
for other conditions such as quitting smoking. Bupropion (generic name) increases
the amount of two chemicals in the brain, norephineprine and dopamine. |

| | Swallow the tablet whole.
Do not crush or chew before swallowing. This medicine is taken orally and may
be taken with food if stomach upset occurs. Take this medicine regularly at the
same time every day. Follow the directions given to you by your doctor. |

| | Do NOT abruptly stop this
medicine without talking to your doctor. This medicine may cause dizziness or
drowsiness. Do NOT drive or perform other hazardous tasks until you know how this
medicine affects you. Do NOT take this medicine if you are allergic to it or any
of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures. For
women: Adequate studies of pregnant women are not available. If you plan on becoming
pregnant, talk to your doctor about the benefits versus the risks of using this
medicine during pregnancy. For nursing mothers, this medicine is excreted in breast
milk in small amounts. Check with your doctor if you plan to nurse your baby.

| | Do not take MAO inhibitors
type A with this medicine. If you are not sure if you are taking an MAO inhibitor,
talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Certain other antidepressants, clozapine (Clozaril),
haloperidol (Haldol), lithium, trazadone, and others may increase the risk of
seizures. BEFORE taking any new prescription or over-the-counter medicine, talk
to your health care provider. |

| | Take your next dose as soon
as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go
back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses. |

| | Store it at
room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach
of children. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. |
